Thousands Get a Taste of Manotick

The weather was perfect and the crowd was big as the Manotick BIA hosted its annual A Taste of Manotick event Sat. Sept. 23 in the village.

The annual Manotick BIA event is one of the largest of the year, as it offers businesses in Manotick a chance to showcase their goods and services, offer samples, and hold workshops. The thousands of visitors at the event had the opportunity to “experience all that the vibrant village has to offer.”

Along with the sales, samples and activities, there was also entertainment on the street, as Manotick Main was closed from 2-8 p.m. for the event. There were also events and entertainment at the Manotick Mews.

Guests for the day included Ottawa Redblacks mascot Big Joe, the Capital City Garrison Star Wars rad the Balloon Artist, the Taste of Manotick Drag Show, Highway Sunrise, and the Dan Dunlop Band.
