Police Looking For Witnesses in Greely Crash

The Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Unit is investigating a head-on collision that occurred on Saturday, October 21.

At approximately 6 p.m., first responders were called to a collision involving two vehicles in the 6000 block of Bank Street near Parkway Road in Greely.

Both drivers were rushed to hospital, one with life-threatening conditions. According to Ottawa Paramedic Services, a 32-year-old man suffered multi-system trauma and was ejected from his vehicle. A 36-year-old woman in the other vehicle suffered hip and chest injuries and was in stable condition.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and have not yet spoken to police.
